Programmes and Activities
Our organization is involved in numerous projects eriam.
The activities of the organization have taken a speed pace particularly during the last three years. There are many periodical activities that are organized for the welfare of the rural area. The periodical activities include support to poor, awareness campaigns such as Sanitation, AIDS, anti-alcoholic, environmental, forestation, legal awareness etc, Training programmes on vocational training, computer education etc
Environmental awareness
Environmental awareness programme are being conducted every year at outskirts of cities and in selected rural areas. The programmes are conducted through the involvement of schools and college going children and they conduct rally, competitions, distribution of pamphlets Also village level community meetings are organized to discuss on issues such as global warming, social forestry, waste management etc.
Sanitation awareness
This is a programme conducted every year with the help of the PHED department and the programmesare conducted through kala jathhas at rural areas . The focus is on creating awareness on Total Sanitation Campaign and to adopt the usage of modern toilets and proper waste management system in the
HIV/AIDS awareness
This is another awareness programme conducted at the high risk sights with the help of the Target Intervention partners. Also the programme is extended at colleges and high The programme gives awareness on health consciousness behavior of migrant labor and commercial sex workers, practicing of safe sexual intercourse and extensive of condoms etc. Periodical tastings are encouraged to the target group and government facilities like VCTC centres, ART facilities etc are popularized. The IEC of NACO and CGSACS are extensively used for this programe.
Awareness on TB and Malaria
TB and Malaria are the focused diseases where the state government is serious due to its mortalities. In this regard with the support of district administration the organisation periodically conducts sensitization and awareness programmes on controlling TB and This helps in increased referrals and tracking of the treatment at the community level by the departments. Further, it also promotes usage of mosquito-nets for malaria and maintaining precautionary measures for avoiding the infection rate of TB .
Water harvesting awareness
This is another recurring programme undertaken by the organization for the past three years . The focus so far has been at the villages at surajpur district. The awareness is made for adopting the soak-pits at every household and recharging the rain water and roof top water during the rainy season. Technical support has been taken from organizations like Lalitha Foundation, CARDS, NABARD and CIDAN.

Women empowerment
Since inception, the organization has been focusing on social and economic empowerment of women and in the is direction the organization has been conducting legal awareness programmes to women, family counseling programmes, fostering women collective bargaining programmes through various The organization has been fostering women groups in villages which can take up constructive and progressive roles in rural development.
Vocational Training
The organization has so far trained more than 2,000 persons on various vocational trades so far since its inception in association with the training agencies under skill development The training included Mushroom cultivation, Bamboo handicrafts, Bastar Arts, Soft toys, Agarbatti making, Brick Making, Bleaching powder making, soap making, terracotta pieces, Bhel metal articrafts, wood carving, paper cover making, Leaf cup making etc. These were trained to help the people secure self-employment.
Employment provision
Every year the organization is helping the rural youth to facilitate with loans from micro-financing agencies. On an average 50 persons are helped to link with different banks. The organizations goodwill is being used to avail them the loan. This is basically to counter unemployment problem of rural youth.
SHG formation & training
More than 100 SHGs that include women SHGs are being formed by the organization. Further there have been attempts to recharge the dormant SHGs also. The organization is putting best efforts in providing market linkages to the SHG products.
